“Getting to Paris Without Stopping in Washington”

MVCAN is co-sponsoring a global action climate summit event on Sat. Sept. 15, at College of Marin.

Global climate leader Christiana Figueres is coming to speak at this important event, because Marin has its own impressive story to tell about taking the initiative to meet and surpass the all-important goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.

Come hear that story, savor local wines and treats, and meet the amazing array of groups and people working to heal the planet.

Fabulous Nationally Recognized Guest Speakers:

  • Christiana Figueres, internationally renowned chief architect of the United Nations Paris Climate Agreement

  • Daniel Kammen of the Nobel-Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change

  • Matt Rodriquez, California EPA Secretary
