Democracy Cafe - Youth In Action

  • O'Hanlon Center for the Arts 616 Throckmorton Avenue Mill Valley, CA, 94941 United States (map)

Come make art, music and poetry with young activists -- and express yourself at our second Democracy Cafe on February 18!

This month’s theme is Youth In Action. We’re inviting young people to come share their views, so we can learn from each other, and help our youth participate in democracy.

We will feature music and poetry by singer/songwriters Matt Jaffe, Patrick Maley and poet klipschutz. High school activists led by Jake Cohen will lead a group discussion on how young people can take meaningful political action.

You’re also welcome to create your own political signs — and brainstorm ideas for our new political parade float.

This free event takes place on Sunday, February 18th from 2 to 5pm, at the O'Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley, 616 Throckmorton Avenue, Mill Valley, CA 94941.
