MVCAN SPECIAL TRAINING FOR "HOW TO CARRY OUT A SUCCESSFUL ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN"

You will learn about what considerations go into developing and choosing the most advantageous strategies for an advocacy campaign and how to most effectively influence policy decisions.

This first training session in an upcoming series of Advocacy trainings will focus on:

• Goals - Which pieces of legislation to support?

• Targets - Which elected representatives are most crucial to target?

• Tactics - What are effective strategies and techniques for in-person lobbying?

• Timing - How to strategically to use timing.
