CONGRATULATIONS ON THE DEFEAT OF TRUMPCARE! RESISTANCE WORKS!

Kudos to all of MVCAN as well as to our amazing collaborators, especially our local OFA and Democracy Action partners for their tireless work to force the withdrawal of the Graham-Cassidy Bill. We called and texted to thousands of voters, and we made all the difference. Now we need to gear up for the next big fights!

PHONE BANK FOR IMPORTANT STATE ELECTIONS (held on November 7, 2017)

Starting Saturday, Oct 7, for the next 5 Saturdays

(Note: there are no phone banks this Saturday, Sept 30, Yom Kippur.)

Our next target is winning the November 7, 2017 state-level elections in Virginia and Washington. We need to win back state legislatures and governorships so we can regain control of big issues like voting rights, gerrymandering, a woman's right to chose, and gun regulation.

To attend and register for the Oct 7 and Oct 14 phone banks (10:30-12:30PM), link to our North Bay/Marin events: https://demaction.us/events/

We'll be phone banking/text banking in Sausalito every Saturday, starting Oct 7 until Election Day, November 7. As always, our experienced phone/text bank leaders will be on hand to coach you and train you.

WE ARE POWERFUL! Never forget how effective our voices are when we target voters in red and purple states to influence their elected officials in the House and Senate.

As always, there's lots more info at MVCAN.org. Our Action Teams are happening- Check it out!

Meanwhile, thanks for your patience while our editorial staff is out of town. FULL MVCAN WEEKLY WAG RETURNS NEXT WEEK :)

With you in action, Danny, June, Suz, Bernard and Eileen.
