Rallies in the City

Protesting in Marin

Rock the Congress

Matt Singer

PLANS FOR THIS SATURDAY 8/26

We feel the best way to show our solidarity this weekend is to protest in peace and the best opportunity is at the Juanita MORE and Women’s March Rally and March for Equality. It will start at the Harvey Milk Plaza in the Castro at noon for a rally and then a march to Civic Center where a whole other celebration will be taking place with Michael Franti and Spearhead, and many other groups.

MVCAN leaders will be at the MV Middle School parking lot at 11am for ad hoc carpools to drive into the city. Whether you carpool or not, please meet us at the Castro Theater at noon so that we can all march together. We will have banners, signs etc. Please bring your own signs.

Come together! Celebrate love and say no to hate with Juanita MORE

BEFORE THE DEMONSTRATION...

At 10am you can join the Immigration and Civil Rights team, who will meet at the Robata Grill and help unfurl banners over U.S. 101 greeting people heading into the city.
